PARISH BOOKSTORE: Have you visited the church store lately? We have new merchandise just in which would make great birthday or baptism gifts. Come and see the many pretty and unique items, CDs, jewelry, icons, new books for children and adults, handmade articles, and much, much more. Stop by during coffee hour, and I will be happy to assist you in finding that special gift. You will be supporting your church as well! Thanks, Diane Khouri

CHURCH SCHOOL: The last Sunday for classes will be May 20th -- Awards Sunday will be June 3rd (NOTE: NEW DATE).

AED/CPR TRAINING: Who would like to save a life? Now that we have a "HeartStart AED" (defibrillator), we need CPR training to make that AED worthwhile. John Barnard has offered to train us in the basics of CPR and the use of an AED. CPR training will require some physical strength and agility, as well as about two hours of your time. Please contact John or Linda Patrick if you're interested in the training. Date and time of training will be held in the church hall at the convenience of participants.

LITURGICAL SCHEDULE: LOOKING AHEAD -- Vesperal Divine Liturgy for the Ascension: Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00pm; Great and Holy Pentecost: Sunday, June 3rd -- Divine Liturgy at 10:30am; Kneeling Vespers at 6:00pm; The Apostles' Fast begins on Monday, June 11th.

BISHOP'S VISIT: Fr. Gregory has been informed by His Grace, Bishop ALEXANDER that he will make his 2012 episcopal visit to our parish on the weekend of October 27-28. Please mark your calendars and plan to be present for Vespers and the Divine Liturgy.


PARISH LIFE CONFERENCE:
So far, besides Fr. G & Kh. S, only John & Catherine Barnard and Azizeh Baroody & Mary Malarkare signed up to attend. Doesn't anyone else want to come with us to Prince Edward Island for a great conference experience???

1) Early bird registrations ends on Monday, April 30th...so May 1st the price goes up $120 per ticket booklet.
2) Final paid registrations date is Friday, June 15th -- only 6 weeks away; this is a "drop dead" date, no exceptions.
